Horton, Ruth (Edna) Cline

Ruth (Edna) Cline Horton, of Blacksburg, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. B. Emmett Cline and widow of the late Miles C. Horton Jr. passed through the door to eternity on Monday, June 18, 2012. Ruth is survived by daughter, Caroline Horton Lapan and husband, Shelton, and grandsons, Samuel and Tovin, all of Baltimore, Md. Also, a nephew, Charles E. Cline and wife, Kitty, of Dayton, Va.; a niece, Katherine Lee Weaver, and sons, Matthew, Jonathan and Robert; and sister-in-law, Mellie Katherine Cline, of Harrisonburg, Va. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012, at Blacksburg United Methodist Church, 111 Church Street, Blacksburg, Va. The family will receive friends after the service in the Whisner Building. Memorials may be made to the church building fund at Blacksburg United Methodist Church, P.O.
