Horst, Shanna Ruth

Shanna Ruth Horst, 11 months 4 days, of Willis, Va., passed away peacefully in the arms of her father on Sunday, December 6, 2009.

She is survived by her parents, Dave and Christine Horst; brother, Jeffery Horst; and three sisters, Amy Horst, Jenna Horst, and Kristy Horst; maternal grandmother, Ruth Yoder; and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Edith Horst.

The family wishes to express gratitude to the many friends that showed care and support through this past year, many of them whom we never met. A life that fills the purpose God designed it for Is beautiful, Even a life of 11 months and four days.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2009, at the Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Eli Yoder and the Rev. Steve Yoder officiating. Interment will follow in the Wills Ridge Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wills Ridge Mennonite Church.
