Hopkins, Brenda Allen

Brenda Lee Hopkins, 51, of Pembroke, departed this life Thursday morning, April 25, 2019, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center at Christiansburg. Born in Monroe Co. WV on July 29, 1967 she was a daughter of the late Irene Knight Allen and Albert Allen and step-daughter of the late Bennie Crotty.

She is survived by her life-partner Bobby Broadwell and their children Justin and Brooke Knight, Michael and Anna Knight, Connor Hopkins, Leslie and Jessie Cook and Hailey Broadwell; her sisters Vada Dalton, Barbara Ratcliffe (Kevin), Donna Rose, Rita Allen (Scott); her brothers John and Jesse Moore and Paul Allen; a bushel of nieces and Nephews; a peck of great-nieces and nephews; all her beloved grandchildren who meant the world to her, Caroline, Lillyanna, Carter, Dallas, Sydnee, Cadence, Cody and Christian.

A special thanks to Samantha Stephens (caregiver), Irene Broadwell (Mother-in-law) and Sherry Broadwell (sister-in-law) for all their attention and loving care.
