Hopkins, Audrey Louise

Audrey Louise Hopkins, 60, of Dublin, died Wednesday morning, October 14, 2015 in the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Christiansburg. She was born in Fort Belvoir, on July 18, 1955 and was the daughter of Edna Haga Brown of Dublin and the late Marvin Alexander Brown.

She was also preceded in death by grandparents, Robert Hix Brown, Osha Mae Wells Brown, William Howard Haga, Princie Etta Turman Haga and by her stepgrandmother, Leota Lambert Brown.

Surviving are husband, the Rev. James Hopkins, Dublin; mother, Edna Haga Brown, Dublin; sister, Deborah Brown, Dublin; brother, Robert Brown, Dublin.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Appalachian Conference of the Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Ruebush Rd., Dublin, with the Rev. Gary Dunford officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice.
