Hopkins, Arbutus Ann

Arbutus Ann Hopkins, 91, of Pulaski died on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Noble Senior Living in Christiansburg. She was born February 21, 1930, to the late Jesse E. Hopkins and Lottie Akers Hopkins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Evans Hopkins; and siblings: Garnett Hamilton, Phyllis Hamilton Bratton, Orlando Campbell, and Dreama Campbell.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Jesse E. Hopkins, Jr. and wife Alice Lee of Bridgewater, Va., Daniel L. Hopkins, and wife Linda: grandsons and spouse, Bradley S. Hopkins and wife Sherry, and David Hopkins.

Mrs. Hopkins enjoyed music, worship, and fellowship with her fellow members of the First Church of the Brethren, Pulaski.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Norris-Stevens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, VA.
