Holloway, Margaret A.

Margaret A. Holloway, 51, of Christiansburg, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa., passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011. Margaret was born on the Island of Barbados, to Eudine Holloway and Harold Cottle. She was engaged to Eric Phillips. She received her higher education from Germantown High School in Philadelphia. Margaret worked in the the Philadelphia area at the Wal-Mart stores for many years, later she worked at the Best Western Hotel in Radford, Va. Margaret leaves behind her fiance, Eric Phillips; sons, Walter Holloway, Rasheed Holloway, and Clifford Jones; and her daughter, Marquitta Jones; grandchildren, Nevaeh, London, Saimere, Semaj, and Taj; four uncles, Kenrick, Collin, Otho, and Christopher; sister, Mamie Broome; and a host of other relatives and friends. A homegoing service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Hiawatha n. Spraggins, Jr. officiating in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, Blacksburg.
