amem-cascadesEffie McPeak Hollins, 93, of Pulaski, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at Commonwealth Assisted Living. She was born on October 23, 1921 in Newbern, and was the daughter of the late Carrie Andrews McPeak and Cleve Burl McPeak.

She was a member of the Thornspring United Methodist Church, retired as an employee of Jefferson Mills with 20 years of service, and was a member of the former Order of the Eastern Star #113 for 45 years, and for years, assisted the Thornspring Ruritan by preparing their meals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Hollins. She is survived by a son, Curtis Edward Hollins; a daughter, Patricia Ann Hollins.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Seagle Funeral Home, with the Rev. Teresa Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9 until 11 a.m. prior to the service.
