Hollandsworth, Ramona Mitchell
Ramona Mitchell Hollandsworth passed away peacefully at her home in Forest July 5, 2012, after a long bout with cancer. She was 73 years old. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; Elmer and Bernice Phillips Mitchell; sister, Eunice Cox; and brother, Delmas Mitchell.
She leaves a loving family, husband, Jerry; son, Jeffrey and his wife, Kathy, and their children, Christopher, Jennifer, Landon and Mason; daughter, Susan and her husband, Paul Adams; daughter, Terri and her husband, John Rutherford, and sons, Jody and Justin; daughter, Janet and her husband, Mark Means, and their daughter, Kari, and son, Travis; daughter, Brenda and her husband, John, and their daughter, Jessica; son, David and his wife, Angela, and daughters, Chelsey and Briana. She is survived by two sisters, Patsy Marshall and Glenda Meador; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
Ramona was an avid lover and collector of music. She was known as Mrs. Neat & Clean by all her family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by all.
The family will receive friends at Maberry Funeral Home in Floyd Saturday, July 7, 2012, from 1 to 3 p.m. with funeral services to be held 3 p.m. and officiated by the Rev. Joe Cox and Pastor Mark Means. Interment to follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Linda Brown, Dr. Alan Vinitsky and Dr. Heidi Kind-Wolfe for Ramona’s quality of life for the past 10 months.
