Hodges, Elois Proco

Elois (Lois) Proco Hodges, 75, of Dublin, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. She was born on April 17, 1934 in Montgomery County, VA to the late George and Ruby Clark Proco.

She was also preceded in death by her step mother, Ileta Proco and sister, Donna Roberts. She retired from RAAP as a security guard after 22 years of service. She was a member of Bob White Boulevard Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Hodges of Dublin, VA; children: Leslie Hodges and wife Judy of WI, Randal Hodges of Salem, VA, and, Jasmine (Lori) Al-Asadi and husband, Saadi of Pulaski, VA; special grandson, Adam; grandchildren: Haley, Nora, Hunter, Kruen, Sara, and Xena; brothers: Garland Proco and wife Connie of Atlanta, GA, and, Paul Proco of NC; sisters: Shelby Davis and husband, John, of Christiansburg, VA, and, Evonne Fleming and husband, Keith of NC; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Pulaski Nursing and Rehab., and, especially the “evening shift angels”: Janice, Brenda, Marie, Alice, Denise, Kandy, Sandra, Vickie, and Marsha.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with pastor Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in the Proco family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2009.
