Virginia Snavely Hodge, 79, of Dublin, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Pulaski Community Hospital.

Born November 25, 1927 in Draper’s Valley, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Howard Snavely, Sr. and Beulah Delorice Chrisley Snavely. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kyle Hodge and two sisters, Ethel and Rachael Snavely.

Surviving are daughters, Delorice Byrd and husband, Pastor Donald W. Byrd, Max Meadows, Jeraldine Hodge, Dublin; sons, Charlie K. Hodge, Jr. and wife, Vickie Lynn Hodge, Dublin, Gary Hodge and wife, Anita Hodge, Dublin, Donald C. Hodge and wife, Regina Jo Hodge, Pulaski; ten grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren; sister, Violet Akers and husband, Jack Akers, Dublin; brother, Clyde Howard Snavely, Jr. and wife, Jeanette Snavely, Roanoke.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 2 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Donald W. Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
