Hodge, Carolyn Reaves

Carolyn Diane Reaves Hodge, 69 of Pulaski, passed away at her home Saturday, November 12, 2016. She was a retired seamstress at Findlay Industries, Dublin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest E. and Maggie J. Reaves; her brothers, Earnest E. “Billy” Reaves Jr., Gerald L. Reaves; sisters, Delores R. Crowder, Mary M. Reaves and Earline E. Oliver.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Wes Lambert, Pulaski; sons and daughters-in-law Kelsey Hodge Jr. and Karen Lane, Pulaski, and Timothy and Lauren Hodge, South Carolina; grandchildren, Christopher Hodge and wife, Sarah, Draper, Danielle Hodge, Pulaski, Brandi Shaw and husband, Michael, Georgia, Brittany Hodge, Pulaski, Matthew Hodge, Pulaski, Bella Hodge, South Carolina and Bryce Hodge, South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Charlie Hodge, Draper and Ember Bryant, Pulaski; sisters, Wanda S. Horton, Roanoke and Audrey R. (Carl) Webb, Pulaski, brother, Ralph D. (Alma) Reaves, Pulaski; sister-in-law, Brenda Reaves, Pulaski, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charlie Barbettini officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
