Hodge, Billy Edward

Billy Edward Hodge, 61, of Wildwood Drive in Pearisburg departed this life Thursday evening August 23, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg.

Born in Narrows on November 9, 1945 he was a son of the late Gus Hodge and Ernest and Lyda Skeens. He attended First Christian Church in Pearisburg , was employed with Intermet in Radford and had been a member of Pearisburg Lions Club.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Brenda Gautier Hodge; three sons Phillip, Randy, and Troy Hodge all of Staunton; two step-sons Barry and wife Heather Blankenship of Pearisburg and Mark Blankenship of Pearisburg; a granddaughter Valentina and four step-grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Noah, and Emily; his brother and sisters-in-law who loved him very much Bill and Bonnie Gautier of Pembroke, Marie Wilson of Pearisburg, Mary Adkins of Pearisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM at The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with Pastor Kenneth Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
