Hoback, Herbert Ira

Herbert Ira Hoback, age 84 of Pulaski passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Avante Nursing Center, Roanoke. Born January 12, 1927 in Pulaski, he is the son of the late Walter Henry Hoback and Stella Elizabeth Tickle Hoback. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Edith Hoback and Brothers, Robert Hoback, Roscoe “Freddie” Hoback, and Donald “Donnie” Hoback. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He is survived by his Sister- Louise Hinkley – Radford, Brother-Daniel Clinton Hoback & wife, Alma – Pulaski, Son-Herbert Lee Hoback, Daughter- Tammy Hoback. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. John Grimm officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
