Hite, Sandra Kay Reed

Sandra Kay Hite, 59, of Pembroke, departed this life Thursday morning, July 25, 2013 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. She was born in Pearisburg on April 22, 1954 a daughter of the late Luther Hoover, Sr. and Audrey Carter Reed. She was retired on disability from her job as a supervisor at Moog in Blacksburg and for over twenty five years had been a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband “Butch” Horace B. Hite; her son Eric N. Hite of Pembroke; her step-daughter Tammy Hite of Richmond; her brother and sister-in-law Luther H. Jr. (Junie) and Charlene Reed of Pembroke; her sister and brother-in-law Debra and Rickie Manning of Pembroke; her grandchildren Whitney Paige Hite and Benjamin Chase Estep. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services.
