Nannie Smith Hinkley, 86, passed away Wednesday, October30, 2013 at her home in Christiansburg. She was a member of the Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church and a retired cook from Radford University.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ted Dotson and Ruth Smith, husband Jessie Earnest Hinkley, son Oscar Ornelas, daughter Elsie Caldwell and great-grandson, Justin Ryan Wyatt.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Earnest Hinkley Sr. and Melinda Repass of Draper; daughters and sons-in-law, Zelina Custer and Benito Pastrana of Christiansburg and Jessie and Herman K. Wyatt of Riner; adopted son, Celso Silva-Nava; grandchildren Tonya Ornelas, Tiffany Mullins, Arleta Early, Ronald Custer, Alfred J. Custer II, Donna C. Early, Christopher J. Custer, Stanley Earnest Hinkley, Melissa Sue Lester, Jerry B. Hinkley, Jessica Mae Perfater, David Kelly Wyatt, Jimmy Earnest Hinkley, Jr., Brady Thomas Caldwell, Jr., Melissa Trump and SarahTrump; 25 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Mullins Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Sarver officiating. Interment will follow in the Lytton Cemetery in Montgomery County. The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
