Hinkley, Jr., William Boyd

William Boyd Hinkley, Jr., 64 of Christiansburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, William Hinkley Sr. and Jeannette Hinkley; brother, Paul Hinkley; and nephews, Joshua Blevins and Boyd Hinkley. He is survived by his wife, Janice Hinkley; daughter & son-in-law, Reba and Chris Bennington; grandsons, Caden and Landon Bennington; daughter, Melissa Hinkley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Roger Bishop, Kim and Calvin Lovern, and Rhonda and William Agnew; many nieces and nephews; as well as mother-in-law, Tiny Thompson. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Horne Funeral Home, 1300 N. Franklin St., Christiansburg, VA 24073, to help offset expenses.
