Hinkley, Frances Louise

Frances Louise Hinkley, 86, of Radford, passed away to her heavenly home on Thursday March 26, 2015. Louise was born in Pulaski, to the late Walter and Stella Hoback.

Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62½ years, Arnold W. Hinkley, Sr.; her sons, Arnold Hinkley, Jr. and Steven Andrew Hinkley; and her brothers, Freddie, Herbert, and Donnie Hoback.

She is survived by her loving daughters and their families, Judy and Gilbert Miles (with whom Louise resided for the last several years), Carolyn and Fred Gilbert of Pulaski, Wanda and Ernest Hamilton, Linda Lawson of Christiansburg, and Kay and Mitch Viers of Radford; her brother, Clinton Hoback of Pulaski; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, and neighbors.

Louise was the most loving and wonderful mother and friend to her seven children whom she adored. Mom, we will miss you but you will live forever in our hearts. We will meet again.

The family will receive friends at DeVilbiss Funeral Home on Sunday March 29, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel on Monday March 30, 2015, at 2p.m. with the Reverend’s James Walker, Joe Hollins, and Marcus Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
