Hilton, Lillie Mae

Lillie Mae Hilton, 83, of Goldbond, departed this life Sunday morning, June 1, 2008, at her home after a long illness.

Born in Giles County on February 29, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy Clifton and Mae Snow Hare Snider. She was a member of Goldbond Gospel Tabernacle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David D. Hilton; her parents; a daughter, Betty Jean Hilton; four brothers Caudill, Winfred, J.F., and Hascal Snider.

She leaves to cherish her memory four sons and daughters-in-law, “Buddy” David Junior Hilton, of Goldbond, Joe and Debbie Hilton, of Newport, Roger and Beverly Hilton, of Pembroke, Michael and Cindy Hilton, of Goldbond; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and “Danny” John Hungate, of Christiansburg, Erma and Clarence Higgs, of Pearisburg, Rose and Sherwood McGuire, of Pearisburg; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St., in Pembroke, with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park, in Pearisburg.
