Hillis, David Gregory

David Gregory Hillis, 57, of Christiansburg and Norfolk, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 16, 2010 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Portsmouth, Va. on October 13, 1953 to the late John Roy and Elsa Lundstrom Hillis. He was a veteran of the US Army and a camp commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of St. Michaels Lutheran Church, where he had a great relationship with Pastor John. He is survived by his sister, Dawn Brimer and husband, Darin, of Hardy; brothers, Dana Hillis, of Blacksburg, Darren Hillis; three nephews, Austin John, Aaron Cody, and Darin Kent.
