Hill, Margaret Ward (Dottie)

Margaret Ward (Dottie) Hill, 66, of Pulaski, Va., died on Saturday, September 24, 2011, in the Lewis-Gale Medical Center, Salem, Va. She was born in Pulaski, Va., on June 4, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Frank Turner and Deanie Worrell Turner. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bud Hill; and by two sisters, Sis Gravely and Jenny Lou Thomas. Ms. Hill was an employee of R.A.A.P. Surviving are children and spouses, Carol and Walter Erps, David and Tammy Ward, Sharon Akers and Chris Macek, and Jennifer and Mike Gray; grandchildren and spouses, Erica and Chris Joseph, Walter Vance Erps, Kenneth Mines and Emily Bland, Brittany Ward, Zachary Ward, Krista and Ricky French, Jessee Akers, Tony Gray and Chelsey Richardson, and Andy Gray; great- grandchildren, Sydney Joseph, Cameron French, and Xander Erps; siblings and spouses, Richard and Barbara Thomas, Mary Jo Jameson, Barbara DeHart Hutchinson, and Terri and Roger St.Claire; special friend, Richard McClellan Smith; and loving canine pet, CoCoa. Ms. Hill will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, from Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Martin officiating.
