Hill, Alfred Graham

Alfred G. Hill, 71, Formerly of Austinville, died Friday, June 13, 2008.

Funeral service was held Monday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at Reese Funeral Home with the Rev. David Wood officiating. Interment was in White Top Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 7, 1936, in Carroll County, son of the late Graham Rupert and Margaret Poole Hill. He was preceded in death by three brothers, R.J. Hill, Connie Hill, and Barry Hill.

Survivors include three sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret “Sissy” Bergun of Las Vegas, Nev., Bonnie and Wayne Taylor, Betty and Richard Walke, all of Austinville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Sid and Pearl Hill of Hillsville, Rupert Hill of Austinville and Terry Hill of Hillsville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Reese Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
