Survivors are two sons, Larry Hicks, Daniel and Debra Hicks; two grandchildren, Joshua and Jordan Hicks, all of Chester; brother, Vinson and Reva Goad, of Dugspur; sisters, Belva Pauley, of Floyd, Olivia McGuyer, of Christiansburg, Mavis Hildenbrand, of West Newton, Pa. Graveside funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010, at the Turman-Cruise-Goad Cemetery on Brannon Rd. in Dugspur with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 31, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Floyd.
