Hetherington, Tobie Eugene

Tobie Eugene Hetherington, 70, of Dublin, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 29, 2010. He was born on August 15, 1940, at Trigg, Va., the son of the late Clyde Eugene and Ethel Mae Riddle Hetherington. He is survived by his wife, Flo Lee Hetherington; four sons, Steven and Leslie Hetherington, of Narrows, Wayne and Leslie Hetherington, of Christiansburg, Alan Hetherington and fiancée, Rita Burcham, of Dublin, and Jimmy and Regina Hetherington, of Radford; 10 grandchildren, Chris, Erik, Mary, Holly, Harley, Jamie, Ryan Hetherington, Laura and Brooklyn Sutphin, Savanna Roseberry; two greatgrandchildren, Zackary and Carvelle Roseberry; two brothers, Johnny and Sue Hetherington, of Pearisburg, and David and Peggy Hetherington, of Pearisburg; and one sister, Gail and James Weeks, of Bastrop, Texas. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at the Dublin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Rowland officiating. Burial will be held in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate after 2 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. He will be placed in the church one hour prior to service.
