She is also survived by her great niece Kendra Helms, her husband Danny, and their daughters Nevaeh, Logan and Skye.

There are many other surviving nieces & nephews including Linda (Kim) Bevins, Bud (Sandy) Bevins, Debbie (Rodney) Jestes, Maude (Joe) Barker, Mark (Dusty) Heschl, Todd Heschl, RobinLee Heschl, Gary Heschl and Carl Heschl.

Skeeter was very proud of the work that she did for thirty years at BARC Developmental Services Workshop, and the honor of receiving “Employee of the Year” award that she so richly deserved. Skeeter loved to tell stories of the work she did, and the people she encountered during her working years.

Skeeter’s cremains will be buried in Philadelphia with her parents. She will be memorialized through our own stories and the memories we have of our time with her.

We are grateful to have had the opportunity to have spent the last sixteen years with Skeeter. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
