Henry, Margaret L.

Margaret L. Henry, 84, of Blacksburg, Va., died Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Sevierville, Tenn. on June 28, 1924 to the late Eulas and Dela Randall Bogart Koontz.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde F. Henry of Blacksburg, Va.; daughters, Susan Sweet, of Del Ray Beach, Fla., Shirley Murphy and husband, Tom, of Blacksburg, Va.; grandchildren, Chris Murphy, Sarah Murphy Deisher and husband, Steve, Danny Sweet and Joey Sweet; sister, Jackie Davenport, of Monroe, N.C.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carl and Dot Henry, Howard and Helen Houk, Ben and Kathleen Henry, Harold and Betty Byars; friends and staff of Kroontje Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Belmont Christian Church in Christiansburg, Va., with Mr. Jim Bayne and Mr. Jerry Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg, Va.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg, VA.
