Henley, Gladys Lee

Gladys Lee Henley, 84, of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the Giles Memorial Hospital.

Born August 18, 1922 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Sexton and Alice Crissie Lee Poole. Her husband, Clarence Everett Henley also preceded her in death.

Surviving are daughters, Patsy Spicer, Narrows, Va., Tiny Lane Henley, Dublin, Va.; stepdaughter, Nancy Lee and husband David Banks, Lucas, Ohio; grandchildren, Tammy Melvin, Dublin, Michelle Spicer, Narrows, Va., Michael Spicer, Pearisburg, Va.; stepgrandson, Mike Banks, Lucas, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Justin Spicer, Megan Spicer, Ty Windle, Trey Windle, Trinity Harris; stepgreatgrandchildren, Johnathan Banks, Haley Banks, Sam Banks.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Dennis Haga officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements.
