She often displayed pictures of cardinals in her home as they were her favorite. She and her late husband, Paul, cultivated beautiful flower and vegetable gardens throughout their lives together and loved canning fruit preserves to be enjoyed by family and friends year round. Her home was always decorated beautifully for every season and the scene of baked goods ensured that anyone visiting felt welcomed and comfortable.

June often volunteered her time at local polling stations during election time.

June had a well-known sense of humor and would often sing silly songs and do a funny little dance for family during visits. She was faithful to God and enjoyed reading her Bible regularly. To our “granny” – we receive comfort in knowing you are now free, “dancing and making melody to Him” in heaven now that the body is transformed. “Psalm 149:3; Phillipians 3:20-21.
