Helms, Elizabeth Creasey

Elizabeth Joan Creasey Helms, 82, of Shawsville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Preston Helms; parents, Cliney and Lydia Creasey; and two grandsons, Matthew and Mitchell Helms.

She is survived by her children, Patti Helms Clark, Larry Helms, and Robbie Helms; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Galey Creasey; nephew, Anthony Creasey; niece, Susan Moffit; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 22, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dusty Etter and Rev. Kenneth Wells officiating. Interment will follow in the Creasey Family Cemetery, Shawsville.
