Helm, Theadore Lawson

Theadore Lawson Helm, age 76, of Copper Hill, passed away Saturday December 5, 2009. Mr. Helm was a 20 year Army Veteran and was always a farmer at heart.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Hilda Bernice Helm, father & mother; Grady & Esbell Helm, and brother; Lonnie Helm.

Survivors include Sons, Teddy Helm, Wendall Hughes & wife Christy, and James Holland & wife Rhonda; Brothers and Sisters, Grant Helm & wife Elsie of Floyd, Christine Helm of Roanoke, Delane Helm of Port Clinton, OH, and Elmer Helm of Floyd; Devoted Niece and Nephew,John & Myra Helm; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Special friend, Maggie Webb; and Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Clinton Crump officiating. Interment will follow at Little River Cemetery Cemetery with Military Honors by the Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 & American Legion Post # 127. Visitation will be at 12 noon prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little River Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 1148 Poor Farm Road, Floyd, Va 24091.
