Hedges, David J.

Dr. David J. Hedges, age 65, of Blacksburg died, Monday, September 17, 2018, at his home. He was born in Beckley, WV. on February 5, 1953 to the late Joseph Early and Dorothy Michelinie Hedges.

He was an Ophthalmologist in Blacksburg from 1983 until retiring in 2011. Dr. Hedges loved photography, hunting and fishing. He attended Blacksburg Christian Fellowship.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Toni Hedges, daughters and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Bryant Bays, Sarah Hedges, Rachel Hedges, grandchildren, Ethan and John Bays, brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Anne Hedges, niece, Kate Lang and husband, Jeff, nephew, Douglas Hedges and wife, Kate. Funeral Services will be held privately.
