Heath, Kenneth James

Kenneth James Heath, 45 of Pearisburg, VA departed this life suddenly at his home on June 26, 2022. Born in Shelby, NC on June 15, 1977 he was a son of Don and Becky Sharpe Heath.

Kent was an avid Tarheel, having graduated from UNC with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. Throughout his life he was an Eagle Scout in Troop 125; a member of the fraternity, Sigma Nu; and enjoyed watching Formula 1, This Old House, and cooking shows.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his parents, Don and Becky Heath of North Carolina; wife, Cindy Heath of Pearisburg; daughter, Laney Heath of Pearisburg; brother, Kevin Heath (Patty) of Winston-Salem, NC; and sister, Karin Hodges (Jim) of Creedmoor, NC.

There will be a celebration of life conducted on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. While flowers are appreciated, the family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Boy Scouts of America; a local food pantry; or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
