Hazelwood, Margaret Bradley
Margaret Patricia Bradley Hazelwood, age 81, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, VA. Born December 27, 1940, in Marion, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Alma Gullion Bradley.
Margaret was a member of the Lifeline Church in Peterstown, WV. She worked as a seamstress at the Narrows Sewing Factory and enjoyed bowling. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Bradley; and three special sisters-in-law, Janice Bradley, Jean Bradley, and Wanda Bradley.
Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, James Hazelwood; three children, Sodonia Garner (Steve) of Pearisburg, VA, Michelle Kinzer (Brinson), and Jamie Hazelwood (Kim), all of Peterstown, WV; three grandchildren, Sasha Hill (Jarrod), Jaden Kinzer, and William Kinzer; one great grandson, Waylon Hill; special nephew, J.J. Fleeman of Salisbury, NC; one sister, Shirley Bradley (Bill) of Myrtle Beach, SC; three brothers, Larry Bradley of Peterstown, WV, Malcolm Bradley (Erma) of Mechanicsville, VA, and Marshall Bradley (Pam) of Kalamazoo, MI; and special extended family, Sue Michael, Sarah Ellison, and Shawn Bradley.
Additionally, the family would like to extend a special thanks to the Carilion Giles Community Hospital Staff, the Lifeline Church family, and Margaret’s special friend, Linda Hazelwood.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Elder Daniel Sowers officiating. Burial will follow at the Bradley Cemetery in Lindside, WV, with Jamie Hazelwood, Steve Garner, Jarrod Hill, J.J. Fleeman, Michael Hazelwood, and Brinson Kinzer serving as pallbearers.
A visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV.
