Hayes, Wanda Evelyn

Wanda Evelyn Hayes, 75, of the Lilly Dell Circle, Dublin, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 15, 2010, at New River Valley Medical Center. She was born on November 2, 1935, at Bland, Va., the daughter of the late Eli and Daisy Mae Goins Duncan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Walters; and a brother, Eugene Duncan. She is survived by two sons, Benny Hayes Jr. and Samuel Hayes, both of Dublin; a brotherin-law, Bill Walters, of Dublin; and several nephews and cousins. Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at the New Dublin Presbyterian Cemetery, Dublin with the Rev. Andrew Troutman officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family is in the care of A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, Va.
