Harvill, Olga DeHart

Olga DeHart Harvill, 98, of Indian Valley, a retired English professor of Lamar University of Beaumont, Texas and Radford University and a member of Chapter H, PEO, died Sunday, November 6, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Viman Harvill.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and John Surber of San Antonio, Texas; her foster daughter, Jo Ann Harvill of Blacksburg; her sister, Imogene DeHart Farmer of Radford; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

An inurnment service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday November 11, 2016 at Grace Episcopal Church in Radford.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Grace Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 210 4th Street Radford, VA 24141 or to the animal shelter of your choice.

DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford is in charge of arrangements.
