Harvey, Franklin D.

Franklin D. Harvey, 78, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Highland Ridge Rehab Center.

He was born in Jumping Branch, W.Va. on June 7, 1938 to the late A. Garnett and Estella Mantha Waddell Harvey.

He is survived by his wife, Micajahala Spradlin Harvey; daughter, Rebecca Seagraves; sons, A. Stephen Harvey, Daniel Clayton Harvey; sisters, Helen Lewis, Vera Basham; brother, Eugene Harvey; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to the service at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
