Harvey, Darrell Dean

Darrell Dean Harvey, age 52, of Ellett died, Saturday, July 5, 2014, as the result of an atv accident. He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on October 13, 1961. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Stump Harvey, his infant brother, Wayne Curtis Harvey. He worked for the Town of Christiansburg for several years. He is survived by his father, Loren Douglas Harvey, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jeff Dowdy, of Christiansburg, niece, Christy Fulton and husband, Greg, nephew, John Henry Karr, IV, great nephew, Preston Lee Topham, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Everett Shepherd officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
