Harvey, Blanche Buckland

Blanche Buckland Harvey, 96, of Pearisburg, VA passed away, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Springfield Center, Lindside, WV. Born May 10, 1919 in Giles County, VA she was the last surviving child of the late James Andrew and Elizabeth F. Ferguson Buckland.

Mrs. Harvey was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Baptist Church at Oakvale, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold French, James Hammons and Roy Harvey, brothers, Ray, Henry, Neal, Jasper, Darrell, Sherman (Pete), Port and Midge, sisters, Edna Dunn, Phyllis Easley, Lorraine Wilkerson and Annie Grace Jones.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Peterstown Cemetery, Giles County, VA.
