Hartman, Mary Ellen Quesinberry

Mary Ellen Quesinberry Hartman, 79, of Willis departed this life Wednesday afternoon, February 28, 2018, at her home in the loving care of her family and hospice. Born in Coaldale, WV on July 13, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Laura Rogers Quesinberry.

She was retired as a hostess at the Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport with 42 years service. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, her sons Michael Eugene and Ronald Lee Quesinberry, her sister Clara Caldwell, and brother Ulysses Lee “Buck”Quesinberry.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Rickey Quesinberry of Pembroke; her daughter and caregiver Jackie Lynn Vance of Willis; her sister Carol Thorn of Narrows; her grandson Benjamin Lee Vance and her great-grandchildren Emma and Carter Vance.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church at Walton, VA with Pastor Lee Sarver officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the services.The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
