Hart, Genevieve Polston

Genevieve Polston Hart, 96, peacefully concluded this lifetime on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at her daughter & son-in-law’s home in Blacksburg, Va. One can describe Gengen as someone who lived her life in primary colors and filled her families’ lives with equal vibrancy. We will miss her humor, her multiple talents, and her steadfast love & gratitude.

Surviving GenGen are her daughters Beth Harris, Raleigh, N.C. and Pat and Bill (son-in-law) Carstensen, Blacksburg, Va. and her grandchildren, their spouses and her great grandchildren, Tyler Harris & Carrie Browne and daughter Lillian, Durham, NC; Sarah Harris, Wendell, N.C.; Emily and Rick Onkey and children Carsten & Ren, NY, N.Y.; Betsy and Jim Pendergast and children Hank & Clare, Birmingham, Ala.; and Evan and Lizzy Carstensen & son Thomas, Charlottesville, Va. Gengen is also survived by sister & brother-in-law, Jeanne and Doug Greene in Vancouver, Washington.
