Harrison, Douglas William

Douglas “Doug” William Harrison, 58, of Radford, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015. He was born on July 24, 1956 to the late James William and Alma Altizer Harrison, Sr.

Doug is survived by his sister, Bonnie (Daniel) Anderson; his aunts, Margaret Whitlock and Ruby Austin; his nephews, Chris (Joanne) Anderson and Michael Anderson; great-nephews, Arron and Elijah Anderson; and a number of cousins.

Doug was a member of the Fairlawn Church of God and a faithful member of their group, Celebrate Recovery. He cherished all of his friends, family, and church community.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford, Va. with funeral services to follow directly after with Reverend Marcus Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Burial Park in Fairlawn, Va.
