Harris, Verena Kate

Verena Kate Harris, 67, of Floyd, passed away Friday December 22, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Edward and Lena Kate Keith, and brother, Coy Keith.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kelvin Kent and Teresa Keith; daughter and son-in-law, Portia Dawn and Terry Young; grandsons, Stern Keith, Joshua Young; sister and brother-in-law, Bonelene “Bonnie” and Luther Weddle; five nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 24, 2006 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Pastor Douglas Martin and Pastor Paul deGastyne officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Willis. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, prior to the funeral service at Maberry Funeral Home.
