Harris, Trent Anderson

Trent Anderson Harris, 77, of Stafford County, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008, at his home with his family at his side. Born May 30, 1931 in Willis, Va., Trent was a son of the late Claude and Ada Moles Harris. Mr. Harris retired from Shenandoah’s Pride Dairy after 42 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Trent was much loved and respected in his community.

Trent leaves his beloved wife of 47 years, Joyce Corrine Harris; and two loving daughters, Shelby Harris Jones and Angela Ellis and her husband, Vincent; six grandchildren, Savannah and Katie Jones, Jacob Stanford, Krista, Jessica and Lauren Ellis; sisters, Vesta Dunn, Hazel Young, and Velva Rea East; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday November 18, 2008, at Buffalo Mountain Presbyterian Church in Willis, Va. with Pastor Joe Quesenberry and Pastor Elmon Thompson officiating. Interment to follow in the Harris Family Cemetery, with military honors by Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 and American Legion Post #127.
