Harris, Timothy Gene

Timothy Gene Harris, age 66, of Blacksburg passed away to his eternal home Saturday, October 19, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Washington, D.C. on March 3, 1947 to the late Harry E. and Frances Cooper Harris. Tim owned and operated H & H Flooring. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Harris, two daughters, Katherine (Katie) and Aaron Ferry, of Monroe, OH, Kelly and Tim Brown, of Christiansburg, son, David C. Harris, of Blacksburg, two grandchildren, Kaleb Ferry and Leah Ferry, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Belle A. and Cecil E. Underwood, of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joey Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens of the New River Valley. The family would like to thank Jennie Lemon and the staff of Medi Home and Hospice for their kindness. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2:00 pm prior to service Tuesday, at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
