Harris, Marie Viers

Marie Viers Harris, 54, of Knoxville, Tenn. and formerly of Radford, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 18, 2007. Marie gently took Jesus by the hand and he lead her home. She suffered unbearable pain every day from injuries received in an auto accident 17 years ago.

Marie always thought of others before herself. She appreciated this world, but now she enjoys all the beauty where her body and all things are new.

Marie was preceded in death by her father, Dennis C. Viers. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 36 years, Roy Denton Harris Jr.; son, Bradley Dean Harris; daughter, Catherine Lynn Harris and her fianc�, Sho Edwards; granddaughter, Breanna Marie Monroe, all of Knoxville, Tenn.; mother, Mary N. Viers of Radford, Va.; sisters, Pamela Sue Viers of Blacksburg, Va. and Bonnie V. Singleton of Cornelius, N.C.; brother, Robert C. Viers of Christiansburg, Va.; best friend and constant companion, "BJ" her beloved dog.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with the Rev. John Peach officiating.
