Lillian Ann Harris, 62, of Chapman Ave. in Pembroke, departed this life Monday afternoon, March 20, 2006 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg.

Born in Giles County on July 6, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Johnson and Pauline Bishop House of Pearisburg.

Lillian was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Pembroke and enjoyed singing the Gospel with the choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Harris; a sister, DeLores Dean; and a brother, Johnson Clifton House. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Felicia H. Hoston of Pembroke; a dear caregiver, Natasha Mooney of Pembroke; a brother, Larry Samuel House of Pearisburg; three beloved grandchildren, DJ Hoston, Dakota Hoston, and Martisha Shannel Wright.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Pembroke with the Pastor, The Rev. James Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
