Harris, Gladys Cline

Gladys Pearl Cline Harris, 79 of Pearisburg, VA departed this life, entering streets of gold and greeting her Savior Jesus Christ on March 17, 2022 after an illness in the care of Heritage Hall-Rich Creek. Born on May 1, 1942 in Giles County Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Roscoe and Daisy Burton Munsey.

Gladys was gifted with children, and used that gift as she worked in the day care industry as a child care provider. Gladys practiced her faith in attendance at Shaver Memorial Church in Pearisburg Virginia. She lived out that faith in her unswerving and devoted times of reading her Bible.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Cecil Cline; and siblings, Annie Parsell, Mamie Crews, Ralph Munsey, John Munsey, Robert (Brewster)Munsey, Charles Munsey, James H Munsey, Harvey G Munsey, and Roger L Munsey.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her son, Charlie Cline (Fran); a daughter Faye Riddle (Ronnie); grandchildren, Ronnie Riddle Jr (Sandra), and Dusty Cline (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Alyssa Riddle and Wesley Riddle; step great-grandchildren, Mikey McDonald, and Emily McDonald; a great-great granddaughter, Octavia Rayne Fortune; brothers, Benny Munsey (Brenda), and Raymond Munsey; and sisters, Maebelle Midkiff (Jr), Wilma Midkiff (Joe), and Martha Cole (Danny).

There will be a funeral service conducted on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Jordan Midkiff officiating. Services will conclude in the Munsey Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Kendall Funeral Home on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
