Harris, Celeste June

Celeste June Harris, 77, of Bassett, passed away Thursday May 4, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Alfred and Clara E. Galbreth Brown; husband, J.W. Harris; and brothers, Eugene and Curtis Brown.

Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Coy Arlet Keith, Bassett; brother and sister-in-law, U.L. and Violet Brown, Willis; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow at Topeco Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Maberry Funeral Home.
