Harney, Daniel Melvin

Daniel Melvin Harney, infant son to Wally Harney and Elizabeth Twiggs, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin Lovern, and Wally and Margaret Harney. Along with his parents, he is also survived by his grandmother, Frances Lovern; uncles and their spouses, Clifton Lovern, Donald and April Lovern, Roger and Jennifer Lovern, Calvin and Kimberly Lovern, and Micky McDonough; aunts, Shirley and Eddie Nester, June Howarth, and Charlene Bair; nieces and nephew, Felicia Lovern, Ashley Nester, Tara Lovern, Josh Blevins and Whitney Blevins; stepbrothers, Wally and Raymond Harney; stepsister, Dawn Harney; and friend of the family, George Twiggs. The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 28, 2009, from 4 to 6 p.m. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at the graveside in Northfork Cemetery, with the Rev.
