Harmon, Dorothy Bailey

Dorothy Bailey Harmon, 73, of Floyd, passed away May 12, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Frederick H. Harmon. She was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren for 35 years.

She is survived by a son, Rufus Mark Harmon of Floyd; a grandson, Daryl Lee Harmon of Floyd; two greatgrandchildren, Daryl Lee Harmon, Jr. and Austin Taylor Harmon, both of Stuart; a sister and brother-in-law, Neoma and Alvin Altizer of Christiansburg; her fiance, Eugene Hylton of Floyd and three nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2007, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Glen Sage officiating. Interment will follow at Topeco Cemetery. Visitation will be from Sunday, May 13, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Maberry Funeral Home.
