Harmon, Coy Arnold

Coy Arnold Harmon, 82, of Willis, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009. He was preceded in death by parents, Bluford Troy and Linnie A. Harmon; sister, Iva Harter; and brother, Walter Dayton.

He is survived by wife of 59 years, Lottie S. Harmon; son, Melvin Harmon and wife, Karen; daughter, Elma Harmon; grandchildren, Coy Beasley, Thomas Kellam, and Joshua Kellam; brothers and sisters, Nellene Crumb, of Floyd, Rita Lawson, of Rocky Mount, Ward Harmon, of Bassett, Benjamin Harmon, of Bassett, Elvin Harmon, of Floyd, and Don Harmon, of Martinsville; nieces and nephews; and special dog, Super Dog.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Greasy Creek Cemetery. Military Rites By VaARNG Honor Guard and Hillsville V.F. W. Post #1115. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 13, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
